Deep inside we are all the same. We are people. And that is terrible.

As humans, we tend to behave in ways that are quite predictable, and not necessarily desirable. Sometimes we’re consumed by our darkest side, and even though we know it’s wrong, we act like demons. At other moments we act like beasts, letting ourselves be carried away by our most basic impulses and disregarding the needs of others. And sometimes we just act like people, governed by our prejudices, our fears and our envy.

Yet, deep inside we are all the same, we all have dreams, hopes, pains and sorrows, and if we just remembered that more often, life would be more bearable.

The images in this project were created to illustrate the tracks of the micro-album "People", originally released in 2021 by my black metal project Kongsnab. High resolution JPG versions of the images are available with the album.
